Montana wilderness elk hunting, archery and rifle elk hunts,  and Montana horseback and pack trips.

Our goal at Bar 88 Horses is to provide you with a Montana horseback ride tailored to meet specific the riding experience and adventure requests of your group. We will customize your horseback ride based upon individual preferences and time schedules in order to provide you with personal service and customer satisfaction. Come ride with us!

II. DAY RIDE SECTION:

Half Day Rides - approx. 2-3 hours - $75 per person
Full Day Rides - approx. 4-6 hours - $105 per person (includes lunch)

Upon booking a ride, we will incorporate the skill level and adventure requests of your group to determine which mountain trail ride may suit your group best. We can also recommend and arrange local lodging - thus, accommodating a variety of preferences and price ranges. *Opportunities for mountain lake or stream fishing
*Well-trained horses accustomed to mountain trail riding
*Conducted on a variety of trails in the Beaverhead National Forest
*Mountain range elevations vary from 5,000 to 11,000 feet

III. CATTLE HERDING SECTION:
$85 per person

This is an actual ranch experience. Cattle herding experiences are on a daily basis and may be incorporated into your daily riding or vacation activities. Join us on the ranch when we "work" cattle or move them from their grazing pastures. This is a good opportunity for those who don't want to be "saddle sore" from spending 8 hours in the saddle or for those who like a hot shower at the end of a hot and dusty day.
